Overview

HACK-ED is a three day online hackathon with a mission to change the way we teach and learn and rethink education. This hackathon brings together experts to create and build products that can create real impact by bringing ideas to working solutions. The event will take place from 26th June to 28th June, 2020.

Eligibility

Individuals from all the walks of life are welcome to participate. Developers, designers, hackers, educators, entrepreneurs and anyone who wants to leverage technology to build their ideas into solutions are invited. We are expecting people to join in teams. Teams are composed of three to six individuals.

Ideas

You will be creating your idea and project exclusively during the event. Of course feel free to work on the concept for your application before the competition starts. Just no digital assets including graphic design assets, code, etc.

Mentorship

We will provide mentoring during the event in the course of several check-ins. A design thinking session will be conducted as part of orientation. Mentors will not be part of the teams.

If you need technical or non-technical assistance, we will have team members available during the event. Reach out to us at hack-ed@lftechnology.com.

Prototype Submissions

You will have 48 hours to create and build your product idea from 26th June, 2020. Every team must submit a URL of their project GitHub repository. A hosted URL of the project or a visual demo is to be submitted by each team on the final day on 28th June 2020. Failure to submit will result in disqualification.
